Meetings & Conventions

For 50 years, Viking Tours has set the standard in the Newport area. Our extensive equipment and experience allow us to offer a wide variety of tour and transportation options, backed by an informed professional staff able to match the best attractions of the region with your particular needs. Viking’s headquarters base in Newport gives us an intimate knowledge of the city’s many facets – the historic harbor, storied mansions and colonial town.

This translates to skilled guidance that will make the most of your time, and ensures that your groups see the best sights in comfort and safety, and on schedule. Viking Tours hosts groups of all sizes visiting Rhode Island, and also organizes charters to other popular destinations such as Boston, New York, Cape Cod & Mystic Seaport.

Motorcoaches & Minicoaches

The Viking fleet ranges from large 56-passenger motorcoaches to smaller minicoaches carrying 24 passengers. All vehicles are climate-controlled with air conditioning and heat and feature a public address system and radio communication with our control center. For longer trips and airport transfers, coaches are equipped with lavatories, cellular phones, DVD’s, reclining seats and luggage areas.

Reminiscent of days gone by, these red and green trolleys are popular with both corporate groups and wedding parties for local transportation and touring. The antique charm of these 30-passenger trolleys creates a special ambiance for traveling Newport’s legendary streets and avenues.

Let Viking Tours be your Newport guide to comfortable, reliable and informative Tour and Transportation Service.
